Our Mission

The mission of the Irving Community Action Network (ICAN) is to bring together local government entities, non-profit service providers, businesses, and faith communities to work as partners to improve the lives of all Irving residents.  We accomplish this by:

1. Communicating – We will communicate the needs and challenges faced by our community, as well as the services available

2. Collaborating – We will actively seek opportunities to work together to identify and implement solutions to the challenges faced by our residents

3. Convening – We will provide opportunities for leaders from across our community to share ideas and resources, as well as to seek creative solutions
