COMMITTEES

We currently have four committees that are actively identifying and working together for the focus of those we serve in the community. Members of ICAN may join a working group to enhance the community response to areas identified and proactively plan and advocate for services, programs, and resources.

Senior Services Co-Chaired by Ann Gillespie and Javier Lopez

Senior Services works to address the priority needs of adults ages 50+ in the Irving Community as well as identify programs & facilities currently serving Irving’s seniors. By sharing resources and helping seniors navigate their way to assistance, quality of life improves.

Homeless Services Co-Chaired by Lana Hansen and Sara Ellington

Homeless Services works to strengthen collaboration among local organizations, faith groups, businesses, city government, and residents in order to improve awareness, access to resources, and programming that supports unhoused individuals & families and reduces homelessness.

Emergency Response Co-Chaired by Andrea Lambe and Terri Oliver

The Emergency Response Team works to facilitate a united effort with Irving's nonprofits, faith institutions, and city departments. Through combined resources and efforts, plans and procedures will be in place for quick and timely responses to any natural or unnatural disasters.

Food Stability Co-Chaired by Jim Eiler and Kyle Taylor

Food stability works to strengthen food access and food security in the Irving community by coordinating resources, reducing barriers to nutritious food, and fostering collaboration among food pantries, nonprofits, schools, faith organizations, and community partners.

Let’s work together.
