COMMITTEES

We currently have 6 Committees that are actively identifying and working together for the focus of those we serve in the community. Members of ICAN may join a working group to enhance the community response to areas identified and proactively plan and advocate for services, programs, and resources.

Youth Services Lacey Denton, Co-Chair and Priscilla Vigilante, Co-Chair

Youth Services works to identify programs serving youth in Irving, promote awareness of those programs in the community, identify gaps in services for youth, collaborate to create ways to serve youth in new partnership forms.

Senior Services Ann Gillespie, Chair

Senior Services works to identify programs/facilities currently serving seniors ages 50+ in the Irving Community. To identify priority needs for seniors in the Irving Community. Establish communication resources to help seniors navigate their way to the assistance they need for a better quality of life.

Homeless Services Lana Hansen, Co-Chair & Rebecca Martinez- Soto, Co-Chair

Emergency Response Andrea Lambe, Co-Chair & Saeed Purcell, Co-Chair

The Emergency Response Team exists to facilitate a united effort with Irving's non profits,  faith institutions and city departments.  Through combined resources and efforts plans and procedures will be in place for quick and timely responses to any natural or unnatural disasters.
